Writing topic 23: Advantages and Disadvantages
In this task you are going to share your ideas about the following topics.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of studying in a state school/private school?
There are several advantages of studying at a public school. First of all, education is free so students donot have to pay school fee. Therefore it costs less amount of money for parents to educate their children at state schools.However, it has the disadvantage of crowded classrooms and the teachers donot have materials to teach or technology to use such as computers in the classroom or data projector in the classroom.
Studying at a private school has several advantages such as the quality of education, class size, facilities, sources and social activities. Regarding class size, there are less number of students in the classrooms . Regarding the quality of education, the medium of instruction is English, so you learn English and lectures are delivered in English. Learning English will help you in your future career and will help you find a well paid job.Regarding facilities, there are many computers in the language labs where you can have free access to Internet 24 hours within the campus. Regarding social activities, there are a lot of clubs for students to join in and become active participants. However, cost of life is expensive. School fee is highly expensive so it seems to be very expensive for most families. If you are studying abooad then you have to pay for other expenses.
Studying at a private school has several advantages and disadvantages.Some families prefer their children to study at private schools where as some others prefer to send their children to state school.I personally both private and state have advantages and disadvantages.These schools have really good facilities such as computer labs where you can use computers 24 hours a day and interactive white boards as well as other technologies.Secondly,classes are always clean and hygrenic so you feel happy and healthy.You can get better language lesson but on the other hand,such facilities are not available at schools.There might not be enough number of teachers.As a result,students dont have enough motivated to work hard.Usually,that students dont want to work hard in Turkey.They want to have fun at school so some of hardworking students are not happy.There are several disadvantages of studying at private.You pay a lot of money.I think government schools are better because its cheaper than privates and you can get better education.There are really benefitted.
Some parents prefer to send their children to a state school whereas some prefer their children to study at private schools.Firstlt at private schools technology is more developed than state schools because you can find computer labs,self study center.Secondly, the medium of intruction is english at private schools so you learn foreign languages in the world.English is also very important for our future career.That is,we can find a well paid job at a very good company.Thirdly, clases at private schools are not as crowde as clasess at state schools.Another important issue is that private schools provide lots of social and cultural activties that students can take part in and participate in such as swimming,playing football.Finally working parents prefer to send their children to private schools since children have to be at school all day long. On the other hand,educatoin at private schools is very expensive and not evey familt could afford to send their children to this schools. To sum up,although private schools are expensive I prefer to at a private schools due to the quality of education and facilities.
in my case, the responsibility of our life and family is much more than studying in state school because if you are studying in private school you pay a lot of money for education moreover the qualıty of educatıon ın school which is educated student with money, more attentive.on the other hand, ıf you prefer to studying in state you have to pay your attention of class more than the private school because every classes of the state school have more student.
In my opinion,studying at a private school has a lot of advantages.First of all,private schools have quality education and offer good facilities such as computer labs,biology labs and chemistry labs.Students can do experiments and learn more.Furthermore,there is an equipped library which have a lot of books and computers for students to study and research but state schools don't provide such facilities for students to learn and experiment. Secondly,private schools offer wide range of social and activities such as swimming,tennis,theatre for students to socialize and become a part of communities and have friends. Thirdly,if students go toprivate schools,they can learn foreign language such as English,French and German so they can travel abroad for further education.Therefore,they will be more successful in their career. Finally,private schools are more expensive than state school so some families cannot afford to send their children to these schools because they don't have enough money for these schools and they cannot pay tuition. In conclusion,I prefer studying at a private schools because these schools are good for education,career and private schools provide wide range of facilities and opportunites for students to contribute to the development of brain,learning and personal development.
