Writing topic 10. Animals
Dear students,
In this task you are going to share your views about the following statement.
It is wrong to kill animals for thier fur. Do you agree?

yes, it is wrong to kill animals for their fur. In many cases, individuals who wear fur try to justify their actions by claiming their coat was made from animals killed on a ranch, as opposed to animals that suffered for days in a steel jaw leghold trap. There is a misconception that ranch raised fur is "humane". Unfortunately, there is nothing humane about depriving these animals from their behavioral and physiological needs. Fur farming is nothing more than institutionalized torture.
I think that it is really wrong to kill animals for their fur. Every year, millions of animals; foxes, chinchillas, squirrels, ermies etc are killed for the clothing industry; wool sweater, leather belt, fur-trimmed jacket etc. First of all it is cruel. Animals on fur farms spend their entire lives confired to cramped, filthy wire cages. They are kept in dramatically bad conditions. Above all, there is no place in the civilized world in the twenty-first century for something like that. Also animals are alive too and they have a right to live their life, like people. Next, fur farmes use the cheapest and cruelest killing methods including suffocation, electrocution, gassing and poisoing. I can't believe that some people are so heartless and harm. Also killing animals for futs isn't necessary because now,we can make man-made materials very cheaply . So many fashinoable, comfortable options available today,there is no excuse for wearing any animal skins. But some famous people choose to wear fur and I think that it is just show off. I believe that we can help stop this. Firstly, we should never buy or wear fur. Its just begining to stop it.
